An agreement between PeopleNet and Advantage PressurePro will allow for the integration of PressurePro’s advanced tire pressure monitoring products into PeopleNet’s legacy systems.
The first system to receive the integration will be PeopleNet’s Blu in-cab PC.

According to PeopleNet, the integration will allow tire pressure monitoring to be added to existing capabilities such as tracking, electronic onboard recording and vehicle and drive management.

“As the first PeopleNet system with fully integrated Tire Pressure Monitoring, the Blu in-cab PC will provide fleets with yet another tool for optimizing vehicle performance efficiency with greater mpg, improved safety and lower maintenance costs,” said Randy Boyles, PeopleNet vp of integration. “Partnerships with leaders in complimentary technologies help us provide our customers with an increasingly comprehensive array of tools they need for minimizing cost drivers across their businesses.”

The enhancement will be available by the end of the second quarter.

“PeopleNet not only remains the leading mobile communications and onboard computing provider, they are consistently known for their customer-driven innovation and leading edge technology,” said Phillip Zaroor, president & CEO of PressurePro.

“As pioneers of TPMS we couldn’t be happier to begin working with PeopleNet to add new capabilities, including top-of-the-line Tire Pressure Monitoring, to their already advanced line of products,” he added.
