Data-mining software company Vigillo announced that Schneider National is using its suite of CSA Scorecards to assist in the implementation of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s CSA program.
Schneider is using the product to educate and prepare its shipping customers for the new Federal safety monitoring system, Vigillo said during the National Industrial Transportation League’s Annual Meeting & Transcomp Exhibition in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
“As we visit with our customers, CSA is increasingly a part of the conversation,” said Don Osterberg, sr. VP of safety, security and driver training at Schneider National. “They are paying close attention because these companies can be at risk if they tender freight to an unsafe carrier. Vigillo is helping us to stay ahead of the curve, and have greater credibility with our customers as we work to identify solutions to supply chain challenges.”
Vigillo’s suite includes CSA score management offerings including carrier, driver and the newly released shipper/broker analysis scorecards.
