Rollingsford, NH-based VXI Corp. has developed a wireless headset for use with Bluetooth-enabled cell phones that is designed to help block road and engine noise for truck drivers.
The new BlueParrott Roadwarrior B150-TK wireless headset was engineered specifically to address the challenges faced by truck drivers using cell phones, said Lisa Keslar, VXI’s director of marketing. She said the noise-canceling microphone effectively blocks road and engine noise. An over-the-head position provides comfort and stability as well as durability, Keslar said.
“Not only does the headset give drivers comfort and greater freedom of movement by letting them be completely hands-free but it also gives them professional-sounding calls free from the distraction of background noise,” Keslar said. “Drivers won’t need to yell to be heard over the engine when fueling,” she added. “Also, these headsets are ergonomically designed to fit comfortably and securely.”
The B150TK headset comes with a vehicle charging cord and an AC power adaptor and is backed by a two-year warranty.
