Select International has announced the launch of its web-based RoadWorthy driver assessment tool, which will allow carriers to compare commercial driver candidates across a range of attributes the company said are crucial to safety, reliability and performance.
The remote assessment draws upon Select International’s library of validated selection data to analyze a candidates’ driving habits and risk assessment capabilities. The tool then recommends whether the candidate should progress to the next stage of the selection process.
“Our goal in introducing RoadWorthy is to help transportation companies hire safe and competent drivers and seat them in a revenue-producing truck quickly and efficiently,” said Dr. Matt O’Connell, executive vp & co-founder of Select International. “With this in mind, RoadWorthy is extremely effective at identifying and eliminating candidates with risk-prone behaviors.”
Roadworthy will be officially introduced at American Trucking Assns. (ATA) Management Conference and Exhibition, October 4 through 7 in New Orleans.
