GeoLogic Solutions has released a new color display unit (CDU) as an option for new and current MobileMax users.

The CDU offers new text-to-voice capabilities and is fully compatible with existing MobileMax systems, allowing for easy upgrades. The Windows-based touch screen device is now commercially available.

MobileMax will continue to operate on a multi-mode platform, utilizing both cellular or satellite networks to ensure coverage, according to GeoLogic. Fleets will also continue to have access to real-time data over the GPRS-based network from the new AT&T (formerly Cingular), as well as the MobileMax system's over-the-air programming capability.
