Blue Sky Network has released its SkyRouter 2 tracking solution, an advanced web portal for comprehensive tracking of air, land and sea assets.

SkyRouter 2 offers detailed global mapping and a user interface that allows administrators to easily view, track, and communicate with assets. Users can track assets, communicate via simple text messaging, and receive and update trip plans, according to Blue Sky.

Features available in SkyRouter 2 include geofencing; customized compound rules; and same page, multiple map views.

The geofencing feature offers notifications every time a vehicle leaves or enters a specific geofence and can be built using a circular or polygon pattern. Users can also create custom rules and alerts based on specific events or any combination of events in the new customized compound rules feature. For example, managers can know when a vehicle is started after hours, or when a vehicle is speeding, stopped, “out of bounds,” or driving erratically.

All assets can be tracked on a single map or separate maps in the same page, multiple map section. Both street and aerial views are available from anywhere in the world.

SkyRouter 2 also offers a point-and-click interface that makes tracking and report creation easy to use and understand. www.blueskynetwork.com
