Several new features have been added to Knaack's Weather Guard-branded Hi-Side truck boxes to provide enhanced security, durability, and easy access to tools.

The boxes provide storage and security options for field service personnel while keeping the pickup truck's bed open for supplies, the company said.

A new gutter design channels rain and snow off the box, and when combined with the full-weather seal, tools inside the box remain virtually dry, the company said. New security enhancements include a drill-resistant lock core, and an attachment point that has been added to the rear of each box to secure or lock down tools and supplies while in the truck bed.

Available in a variety of sizes to fit most truck makes and models, the Hi-Side improves organization with a new top-mounted, removable parts bin to store small parts such as fasteners. The doors offer adjustable tool-less quick-release opening from 90 to 180 deg. Heavy-duty stainless steel aircraft-type cables quickly and easily unhook with QuickClips.

The updated Hi-Side boxes will continue to include a heavy-duty three-point latching system for theft resistance, large stainless steel D-handles for easy opening and locking, and extra-wide opening for access of larger tools.

They are made from heavy-duty steel or diamond plate aluminum and are available in Armor Tuf powder coat paint in either brite white (steel only), black or clear (aluminum only).

Hi-Side boxes range in size from 45½ to 96¼ in. in length, with 5.6 to 11.8 cu. ft. of capacity. Larger Super-Sides add 2 in. in height and 3 in. in depth, with 7.7 to 15.2 cu. ft. of capacity. A steel Jumbo Super-Side is available with a height of 24 in. and 21.4 cu. ft. capacity.
