Indianapolis-based Transportation Safety Technologies (TST) has developed a wireless control system for Jerr-Dan, a manufacturer of carrier vehicles for the wrecker industry. The wireless device enables tow operators to operate their winches remotely. TST plans to offer the product for other applications, including liftgates.

The Hendrickson Tire Inflation System (THIS) is available as an option on all Intraax and Vantraax trailer suspension systems. The system automatically delivers air when it's needed, traveling from the supply tank through air lines inside the axle to the wheel-ends. A warning light alerts the driver to system status. Phillips 66 Co., Lubricants Div., announced that its 76 Lubricants premium heavy-duty engine oil line meets the tougher performance requirements stipulated in API PC- 9 (CI-4). Both Guardol QLT and Royal Triton QLT have been formulated using the company's Quantum Leap Technology.
