During the recent TCA conference in Las Vegas, NV, Transportation Safety Technologies (TST), maker of the Eagle Eye Obstacle Detection System, announced the official launch of a project to bring a new forward-looking radar system to trucking. The new radar system is intended to give truck operators 360-degree radar coverage around their vehicle when coupled with the current Eagle Eye system.

The TST team, which includes former Eaton Vorad managers, plans to bring the new radar system to market in 2003.
