The Timken co. has appointed Brian Walters director of heavy-duty sales.

  • LTL carrier Saia Inc. announced the following appointments: Dan Giesen has been promoted to director of operations services; Jeffrey Mosher has been named manager of line haul optimization; Ed Chilcott has been named regional sales manager (Portland, OR); Dan DeSouza has been named terminal manager at the Springfield, MO, facility; and Tom Lower has been named terminal manager at the San Diego, CA, facility.

  • The Richer Systems Group has named Ken Chapman vice-president of product development; Glenn Bryan vice-president of implementation; and Richard McKeel to manager of quality assurance.

  • DAVCO Technology has appointed Prasad Tumati as director of engineering.
