  • The ArvinMeritor board of directors has appointed Carsten Reinhardt senior vp & COO. In addition, Tim Bowes was elected vp & president of the Industrial division and Joe Mejaly was named vp & president of the Aftermarket & Trailer division. Reinhardt was president of the company's Commercial Vehicle Systems business. As COO, he will be responsible for the overall management of ArvinMeritor's Commercial, Truck, Industrial and Aftermarket & Trailer business segments.

  • David D. Renz, vp-sales and marketing for Eaton Corp.'s Vehicle Group, has retired after 32 years with the company. Renz began his career with the Transmission Div. in Kalamazoo, MI, in 1977.

  • Jim Reis has been promoted to the position of vp-gm of Stemco's Brake Products Group. Also, Jeff Pond has joined the Brake Products Group as regional manager for Duroline, responsible for sales in the northeast region of the U.S. and Canada, and Alan Matsumoto has joined the group as technical service manager.

  • Jim Creighton has been appointed chairman of the Global Fleet Services Alliance, a group of fleet leasing and management companies. Creighton is the vp of global strategic services for Automotive Resources International.

  • Wright Express has elevated Greg Strzegowski to the position of senior vp-corporate development.
