Citgo Petroleum Corp. has introduced a new Internet-based oil analysis program that provides users fast reporting and immediate feedback on the condition of their fleet's engine oil. The Heavy Duty Engine Oil LubeAlert program does not require paper filing, has electronic data delivery, and lists through a proprietary Unit Condition Report only fleet units with current or potential problems.
The program is available for Citgard 600, Citgard SynDurance, Mystik JT-8 and Mystik SX-8 product customers.
Benefits to fleet maintenance managers include significant maintenance budget savings. A typical customer who samples each unit six times a year will save approximately 48 per gallon of oil, says Citgo.
The program includes a Missed Units Report that details units not sampled on schedule, an Equipment Inventory List Report that lists all units enrolled in the program, and a Wear Metals Graphing Report that shows wear metal trends. Wear data is customized to unit engine type.
