Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America (MFTA) displayed its new '02-model FE-SP crew cab at the National Truck Equipment Assn. Work Truck Show last month.
The 14,500-lb. GVW cabover boasts a usable cab-to-rear-axle measurement of 100.8 in. According to MFTA, the truck's 165.4-in. wheelbase can handle a range of body applications, including landscaping, dump, stake and even medium-sized car carrier platforms.
The manufacturer pointed out the FE-SP crew cab seats seven and is well-suited for any vocational application that requires transporting a crew of four or more plus materials to a job site.
Standard features include a turbocharged, fuel-injected 175-hp. diesel engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, collapsible steering wheel, “crush bars” in the front doors and daytime running lights.
