New Freightliner managers

Continuing its restructuring plan, Freightliner LLC has made a number of key executive appointments, naming Dr. Juergen Kritschgau t sr. vp-finance and controlling, and Chris Patterson sr. vp-parts and service. Both will also serve on the company's executive committee. Kritschgau will also serve as the company's CFO, replacing Dr. Udo Schnell, who has been named CEO of another DaimlerChrysler subsidiary

Continuing its restructuring plan, Freightliner LLC has made a number of key executive appointments, naming Dr. Juergen Kritschgau t sr. vp-finance and controlling, and Chris Patterson sr. vp-parts and service. Both will also serve on the company's executive committee.

Kritschgau will also serve as the company's CFO, replacing Dr. Udo Schnell, who has been named CEO of another DaimlerChrysler subsidiary in Germany.

Patterson, who has served as president of Freightliner of Canada and sr. vp-sales and marketing for Freightliner Trucks, will be responsible for parts, customer support and aftermarket programs for all Freightliner LLC business units, including Freightliner Trucks, Sterling and Western Star. He replaces John Pangborn, who is retiring.

Other executive appointments announced by the Portland, OR-based OEM include Bob Cariglia as vp-sales for Freightliner Trucks, Paul Romannagi as gm of quality for Freightliner LLC and Freidrich Baumann as gm of used truck acquisitions and operations.
