The National Motor Freight Traffic Assn. (NMFTA) has released ClassIT, a new online version of the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) used to classify all the commodities shipped and handled by motor freight carriers in North America.

The online version of the NMFC offers several online search parameters to speed up information location and provides easy navigation that allows users to see entire product groupings to ensure the proper description and class, according to NMFTA. ClassIT also offers users a density calculator for packages, pallets or complete shipments.
