Toyo Tires has introduced a new wide-tread all-position truck tire called the M-122, designed for local delivery and regional trucking applications.

Toyo says the 14-ply M-122 rated at Load Range G has good wet-road traction because of its wide, five-rib tread pattern and 17/32-in. tread depth. The tire also features what are known as ‘stone ejector’ grooves to minimize the damage caused by stones and other objects that can get stuck in the tire tread.

The M-122 also has a more rugged sidewall for better curb protection, and an all-steel, four-belt design to extend tire life. Toyo adds that its open cord design enables better retreading capability down the road. A retread rubber allowance of up to $50 per tire for the first retread is offered.
