TruckWeight.com introduced a wireless truck scale that works on any vehicle or tractor equipped with air suspension. The scale, which is activated when tiny sensors are placed directly into each axle's air suspension system, can be used to measure gross weight from inside the cab or anywhere within 100 feet of the vehicle.

The scale provides weight-per-axle and full-vehicle readings, accurate to within 150 lb., according to TruckWeight. With the press of a button, weight information is transmitted to a handheld display, in either pounds or kilos.

Described as “about the size of a can of soda,” the scale is waterproof, shock-resistant and non-corrosive; it will work in temperatures ranging from -40 to 158 deg. F.
