    Wireless Internet for eTruck

    A wireless modem is being added to the PC/Piranha onboard computer, giving it wireless Internet access and a real-time link to Kinetic Computer Corp.'s eTruck fleet management system. The subscription-based eTruck is an Internet ASP offering dispatch and other management tools to any fleet with Internet access and a standard web browser. The new modem is the AirCard 510 from Sierra Wireless Inc. It

    A wireless modem is being added to the PC/Piranha onboard computer, giving it wireless Internet access and a real-time link to Kinetic Computer Corp.'s eTruck fleet management system. The subscription-based eTruck is an Internet ASP offering dispatch and other management tools to any fleet with Internet access and a standard web browser.

    The new modem is the AirCard 510 from Sierra Wireless Inc. It plugs into the Piranha's Type II PC slot, connecting the mobile computer directly to the Internet using Sprint PCS wireless Internet service.
