Dan King is the new senior vice president of sales and marketing; Thomas Masuguchi is now vice president and controller; John Cooney is now director of export; Rick Phillips is now director of commercial sales; and Minoru Nakayama is now chief advisor, corporate strategy and product planning. Xata Corp. has promoted David Gagne to COO.

  • John Coll has been named vice president-global marketing for Eaton Corp. The company also appointed Don Alles director of branding and communications; and Bill Carter director of sales and marketing functional excellence.

  • Jeff Ashcroft has joined the Constellation Research Group as vice president & principal analyst in supply chain.

  • Noregon Systems has appointed Matthew McKegney director of sales-eastern region.

  • Frank Cardile, currently senior vice president of operations and client relations for Automotive Resources International (ARI), will also oversee the upfitting operations of recently acquired Auto Truck Group. ARI also promoted Bob White to senior vice president of fleet services. The company named Bill Kwelty senior vice president & chief quality officer.

  • The American Society for Training & Development has named Anne M. Schwartz to its board of directors. Schwartz is vice president of global leadership development for UPS.

  • Derek Kissel has joined NFI's logistics team as brokerage account manager.
