Atlas World Group has promoted Glen Dunkerson to vp & COO of Atlas World Group, with Greg Hoover taking over Dunkerson’s former position as president of Atlas Van Lines Inc., the company’s largest subsidiary.
Dunkerson, who has worked over 30 years at Atlas, has held positions in both the household goods and specialized transportation units, as well as serving as vp of customer service. In his new post, he will also serve as an ex-officio member of the Atlas World Group board of directors.
Hoover, who has more than 20 years of experience with Atlas, previously was president &COO of Atlas agent ABC Moving and Storage before joining Atlas’ corporate headquarters in 1999 as vp of sales. He most recently was senior vp & chief marketing officer for Atlas World Group.
