Denso has named Atsuhiko “Art” Shimmura president of Denso Manufacturing Tennessee (DMTN)

Denso has named Atsuhiko “Art” Shimmura president of Denso Manufacturing Tennessee (DMTN), succeeding Masahiko “Mack” Hattori, who will move to Denso Corp.’s headquarters in Japan.

Shimmura has worked for Denso since graduating from the University of Nagoya, working in human resources and business planning. He worked at DMTN as human resources coordinator from 1989-1995 and most recently was gm of Denso’s electronics systems business planning center.

Denso Manufacturing Tennessee was founded in 1988 and produces electronic products, instrument clusters, starters and alternators.
