Goodyear to supply tires for PG&E

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has signed a three-year contract to supply tires to Pacific Gas & Electric Co.

PG&E operates over 12,000 trucks in central and northern California. Goodyear will provide the company with a variety of truck tires and services, including replacement and retreads.

In addition, Goodyear’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, announced the opening of its newest Pilot Truck Care Center, located at 410 South Morgan Rd. on I-40 in Oklahoma City, OK.

The center will provide fleets with tires, retreads, limited mechanical service, preventative maintenance and roadside assistance, the company said.
