James “J.W.” Callison was inducted into the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Hall of Fame at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week ’08 last month in Las Vegas. Callison worked for Midwest Wheel Companies, retiring in 1997. He now lives in Naples, FL.
"J.W. certainly fits the criteria and is deserving of this honor," said John Minor, executive vice president of Midwest Wheel Companies, who accepted the award on Callison's behalf. "He propelled our company to an industry leadership position through technology and, more importantly, human resources – the people employed by the company. He is known by most of the people to this day in the industry as a consummate gentleman and as a true icon of the industry," he said.
The award, presented by R.L. Polk and Co., recognizes individuals, companies, or organizations for their contributions to the heavy-duty industry.
