The Heavy Duty Dialogue ’09, scheduled for Orlando, FL in February, will feature a forecast panel discussion on The Commercial Vehicle Industry in Transition. The panel will include a review of the truck market with additional insight on the global military vehicle market, the future of diesel engines and the raw materials market, Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) has announced.
FleetOwner editor-in-chief Jim Mele will moderate the panel, which will feature panelists George Zirnhelt, president & CEO of Power Systems Research; Eli Lustgarten, partner with Longbow Consulting; Dean Lockwood, military wheeled-vehicle analyst for Forecast International, and Cary Wood, president & COO of Citation Corporation.
The panel will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando on Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, immediately preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week ’09.
“The HD Dialogue planning group has carefully developed topics specific to the heavy duty supplier industry with segments on energy policy and sustainability, a CEO panel on strategy, a government affairs panel and a discussion of demographic changes in the world market,” said Timothy Kraus, HDMA president & COO. “The intent for the 2009 conference is to encourage a frank dialogue that will broaden the reach of the conference and create a valuable experience for all heavy duty suppliers.”
