Attendees of the annual McLeod Software Users’ Conference will have the advantage of an optional training day, as the firm has extended the event into a third day.

The training day will include in-depth software training classes in carrier operations, brokerage operations, data management, accounting, billing, settlements and more. It will take place on the third day of the conference, which will run Oct. 21-23 at the Sheraton Birmingham Convention Center in Birmingham, AL.

This year’s conference will include industry speakers, customer breakfast roundtable discussions and opportunities for McLeod customers to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the software and strategies vital to successful operations, McLeod said.

McLeod will also demonstrate its new products, modules and interfaces, including updated versions of its LoadMaster and PowerBroker software programs, new reporting capabilities, new EDI enhancements and document management solutions, as well as new interfaces with additional industry partners.

“Although some transportation conferences have seen a decline in attendance over the last eight months, we expect our attendance to be as strong or stronger than our previous conferences,” said Mark Stephens, director of special events for McLeod Software. “Our customers know that when business is slow, our Users’ Conference offers great opportunities for them to take the time to learn more about the comprehensive software they already have.”

More information on the conference is available by calling 877-362-5363 or going to www.McLeodSoftware.com.
