Refrigerated carrier Abco Transportation has opened a new terminal in Aurora, CO, and is looking to hire as many as 75 drivers to service customers on the West Coast. The Aurora location is one of over 100 centers ABCO, based in Florida, has nationwide.
The truckload carrier said it offers newer equipment that “utilizes state of the art, in-cab scanning devices and temperature control technology to aid drivers during transport.”
“Expansion in this market will provide our customers and valued partners a better service product in the West region,” said Robert Bowman, vp of operations. “Our new, centralized service center will act as a gateway in heavy shipping lanes. More importantly, many of our current drivers are from the West Coast. This expansion will allow drivers to enjoy more time home between trips, mainly due to the proximity of their weekly routes.”
