A new bead holder from Ken-Tool includes a special C-Lok shape, allowing it to hold a tire bead tightly in place, preventing creeping back below the rim edge during the mounting or demounting process.

The 31713 aluminum bead holder can be used on nearly all steel or alloy car, light truck, agricultural and over-the-road truck wheels. It can also be used with super single and super wide truck wheels, Ken-Tool said.

Made of cast aluminum, it is designed to resist slipping off the rim.

Ken-Tool offers the new Aluminum Bead Holder tool in a cabled pair set (p/n 31714) for difficult wheel/tire mounting situations.
