Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has announced plans to lay off 125 employees at its Frankfort, KY, facility, a move that would whittle the plant’s headcount down to 95. The cuts will go into effect January 2, 2007.

The workforce reduction is being taken in anticipation of a 40% decline in truck production next year, according to Bendix.
