Specialty trucking and logistics operator EZE Trucking recently purchased Patterson Motor Freight in Rialto, CA, for an undisclosed sum as part of its expansion strategy.
As a result of the Patterson acquisition, EZE Trucking – owned by Atlantic Street Capital – now spans five states, has over 100 tractors, over 600 trailers, seven terminals, a dedicated LTL network and a logistics division that can broker freight across North America, company officials say.
Transportation consulting firm Ahern and Associates oversaw EZE’s acquisition of Patterson, which provides heavy and over-dimensional trucking and logistics services for mining, aerospace, wind energy and general manufacturing markets. It booked $18 million to $19 million in revenues last year.
