IdleAire Technologies Corp. has announced that thanks to its partnership with truckstops, it has saved nearly 14 million gallons of diesel since the company first installed its advanced truckstop electrification (ATE) site in 2002.

Now there are 111 IdleAire locations in 30 states, and the company expects to expand its network to 200 locations by the end of this year.

The ATE system provides truck drivers the ability to heat and cool their cabs, and power their electrical devices without having to idle their main engines. It also offers satellite TV, Internet access, movies on demand, and phone service.
