The Minnesota Trucking Assn. has elected Keith Klein, executive vp & COO of Transport America ,as its new chairman of the Board of Directors.
Klein began his career with Transport America as CFO in 1999. The company now employs approximately 1,400 and operates 1,300 tractors and 4,200 trailers. It provides long haul, short haul, regional, expedited intermodal and logistics services.
“Transport America has been active in the Minnesota Trucking Assn. for a long time, and we are very pleased to continue that support,” Klein said. “The Minnesota Trucking Association is recognized as one of the strongest associations in the country and plays a critical role in the support of its members, especially in these challenging economic times.”
