Peter Baumann and Edwin Chan have been promoted within the South Asia division of Menlo Worldwide Logistics, the global logistics subsidiary of Con-way Inc.
Baumann is now director of regional sales and solutions, responsible for developing growth strategies while managing the sales and solutions organizations within Southeast Asia.
Chan, appointed senior director of business development and strategy, is responsible for developing and growing Menlo’s shipping and forwarding business in North and South Asia. He will also be in charge of expanding the existing wine and spirits customer base in the region.
“With nearly 50 years of combined experience, Peter and Edwin bring extensive knowledge of customer needs for transportation and logistics services in this region,” said Todd Johnson, vp-international operations. “Their skills strongly align with our growth goals for South Asia and we are confident that their leadership and expertise will contribute significantly toward meeting our strategic objectives.
