Meritor taps John Clark to direct global branding

Meritor Inc. has appointed John Clark as director of global brand management & marketing communications

Meritor Inc. has appointed John Clark as director of global brand management & marketing communications.

He reports directly to Krista Sohm, vp of communications and is responsible for directing the company’s worldwide branding efforts as well as the strategic direction and market execution for the company’s truck, industrial and aftermarket & trailer business segments’ marketing communications activities in North and South America. His areas of responsibility include media and public relations, advertising, shows and exhibits, sales collateral, and social media communications.

Clark joins Meritor after serving as director of communications & brand management at Roush Performance Products, Inc. In that role, he led the company’s communications, social media and lifestyle marketing programs. He joined Roush in 2006. Previously, Clark served as president of RaceFan, Inc. from 2005 to 2006, where he was responsible for all profit-and-loss activities as well as management of staff and offices in India, Alabama, Missouri, Nebraska, New York and North Carolina.
