Michael Evans has been named president of Polar Service Centers by parent company Polar Corp. Evans replaces Craig Fisher.

“We are thrilled to have Mike joining Polar,” said Ted J. Fick, president & CEO of Polar Corp. “We are experiencing tremendous growth in our tanker business as we continue to build our market share leadership position. To support that growth, it’s vital to have a strong and healthy service network and that’s what our Polar Service Centers provide.”

Polar Service Centers plans to add between 15 and 25 new locations within the next two years after adding nine in 2010. The company currently has 29 locales.

Evans was most recently vice president-aftermarket, for Oshkosh Commercial Group.
