A1Express, a same-day courier service, plans to offer a national LTL booking service as well.

Mark McCurry, president of the Atlanta-based company, said offering LTL options alongside his company’s existing door-to-door courier service creates a one-stop shop for customers dealing with time-sensitive package delivery requirements.

He noted that A1Express will list 20 LTL carrier rates through its website, with real-time links so customers can get immediate price quotes and shipping options. Adding LTL options to the mix, McCurry said, makes A1Express better equipped to serve clients needing larger-sized and longer-distanced deliveries.
