Penske Logistics has announced that Brian Ruprich has been named its new managing Director of Europe. The company said he now leads Penske’s supply chain and logistics operations as well as its business development efforts in Europe.
Ruprich has 20 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics. Over the last decade at Penske, he has served in a variety of operational leadership roles in North America and Europe. He has been the operations manager for Penske Logistics Europe since 2009. Prior to joining Penske, Ruprich worked for UPS, Yellow Freight and Ryder System, Inc.
“Brian’s strong operating background and expertise will be an invaluable asset to us as we sharpen our efforts on improving the performance of our European business,” said Penske Logistics president Marc Althen. “He and his team will focus on serving our existing customers, growing our business and cultivating the talent within our organization.”
Penske Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing.
