Service Tire Truck Centers (STTC), through the purchase of Tire Centers, has added 16 commercial locations and a Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) retread shop to its portfolio. The expansion brings to 43 the number of locations, covering the area from New Hampshire to Virginia.
“It’s an exciting day for Service Tire,” said Ron Bennett, president & CEO. “The addition of these new locations gives us the opportunity to bring industry-leading service and superior MRT products to even more fleet customers.”
The new centers are located in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Virginia. There are also STTC facilities in Pennsylvania and Delaware. The MRT plant, located in Millbury, MA, produces both “pre-mold” retreads and “custom mold” retreads.
“In this extremely competitive trucking environment, the needs of fleets are becoming more and more demanding,” said Walt Dealtrey, COO of STTC. “With the Millbury retreading shop, we’ll be able to support these needs with the turnaround time and quality retreads that exceed expectations.
