Under a licensing agreement with Roadranger Marketing, K-Line Industry will build and sell a line of special tools for servicing Eaton and Dana drivetrain components. Roadranger will be responsible for testing and approving all tools released under the agreement with K-Line.
The tools will cover Eaton clutches, transmissions and hybrid power systems, as well as Dana Spicer axles, according to Rick Muth, Roadranger program manager.
K-Line, which is headquartered in Holland, MI, operates a 210,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility and is described by Roadranger as “a leading OEM and aftermarket supplier of specialty tools and tooling systems for the turf, agricultural, construction, and heavy truck and equipment markets.”
Roadranger is a marketing alliance created by Dana and Eaton to provide drivetrain components, technical support, training, service and parts to truck users in North America.
