Shell has announced that its Shell Lubricants 2010 Fleet Technology Conference will visit eight cities in October. At each stop, Shell experts will share information on current emissions and equipment technology; discuss ways that lubricant suppliers can help fleet owners and managers reduce operating costs, and demonstrate new technology that fleets can use with their equipment and maintenance programs.

The touring conference, according to Shell, is designed for fleet owners, maintenance managers, service managers, and all those responsible for equipment operation and maintenance. Shell Lubricants’ distributors and sales representatives will be on hand to interact with attendees and address any questions, the company noted.

Shell said that given “changes in emissions regulations and engine technology, as well as the constant pressure to reduce operating costs, it is important to increase [fleet] knowledge of the latest technology and ways to gain operating efficiencies.”

  • October 5 Philadelphia
  • October 7 Chicago
