Donlen Corp., a nationwide fleet leasing and management company, recently hosted its third career day event for sixth-grade students from Jenner Academy in Chicago's Cabrini Green neighborhood.
Thirty-seven students were treated to career presentations and lunch at Donlen's headquarters in Northbrook, IL. The students, the majority of whom come from families at or below the poverty line, participated in presentations; and police officers addressed questions and concerns some students had about dealing with gangs.
“I cannot stress enough the importance of staying in school and completing your education,” said Donlen president & COO Tom Callahan.
