So Cal Carriers, a California-based trucking company, has acquired 110,000 sq. ft. of land for $2.7 million in Commerce, CA, where it will relocate its headquarters from the City of Industry.
The company will use a portion of an existing 36,123 sq. ft. warehouse currently on the site and demolish the rest to suit its needs, according to a report in the National Real Estate Investor.
The transaction is one of the highest sale prices for land in the Commerce market in the past two years, according to Voit Real Estate Services, which represented the seller, the Maechling Family Trust. GVA Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented the buyer.
The land is located at 6403 E. Slauson Ave. in Commerce, just southeast of downtown Los Angeles and close to the I-710 and I-5 freeways.
