Two longtime veterans of the transportation field are forging a partnership between their respective consulting practices to offer Dept. of Transportation (DOT) compliance, driver safety management, and tax-related expertise with the crisis response expertise.
David Fuhs, president of National Energy Control Services (NECS), and Joseph Osterman, president of JS Eastman Enterprises and a former managing director of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) say they formed the multi-year strategic partnership between their companies to offer more tools to help prevent and manage transportation-related disasters.
During Osterman’s four-year assignment at NTSB, he was involved with or oversaw the investigation of over 2,500 serious transportation accidents and the issuance of over 900 safety recommendations. Prior to that, he served the NTSB as director- office of highway safety, and in various investigation management capacities for more than 23 years. Osterman is a recipient of the Distinguished Presidential Rank Award for federal government executives.
