Secure Trailer Lots has opened a “safe haven,” located at 602 Union Pacific Blvd. in Laredo, TX, to protect cargo and trailers from theft.

Secure Trailer Lots has opened a “safe haven,” located at 602 Union Pacific Blvd. in Laredo, TX, to protect cargo and trailers from theft.

The National Security Council reports that more than $15 billion is lost to cargo theft in the United States. Most theft occurs at truckstops, highway rest areas, port cities and trailer lots with little or no security when cargo is stationary or left unattended.

Secure Trailer Lots operates four cargo safe havens in Texas and Georgia, with additional locations planned in Arizona, Missouri, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Washington, Utah, and Minnesota.
