International Truck and Engine is teaming with Super Bowl legend Terry Bradshaw and NASCAR veteran Armando Fitz, co-owners of FitzBradshaw Racing, for the '04-'05 NASCAR season. FitzBradshaw Racing chose International 9900i trucks to haul the team's cars, equipment and gear to races nationwide. The partnership marks the company's second NASCAR sponsorship — International is also the “Official Class 8 Tractor” of NASCAR.

“International's heavy-duty trucks give FitzBradshaw Racing a superior race shop on wheels,” said Bradshaw, a Pro Football Hall of Famer.

Great Dane Trailers is partnering with dealer Trudell Trailers of Milwaukee, WI, to supply Millis Transfer Inc. of Black River Falls, WI, with 1,776 of its P-Series freight vans to replace its trailer fleet over the next 60 months. The particular quantity of the order and the special patriotic graphics shown were chosen by Millis Transfer “to symbolize the company's support for American ideals and the spirit of the country.” The Great Dane P-Series “is perfect for us because we need the interior cube for hauling glass bottles and the sound structure for carrying 50,000 lb. of beverages per load,” notes David Millis, president of Millis Transfer.

“We use this truck as part of our organizing efforts, sure, but we also use it to deliver food for homeless shelters and other charity work,” says Paul Kenney, secretary & treasurer of Teamsters Local 630 in Los Angeles “We have a big focus on organizing more drivers and getting more public recognition, and what better way than having our own truck, emblazoned with our name? Everyone knows who we are right off.” He notes the distinct look of the one-of-a-kind 18-wheeler is due in part to aircraft paint.
