Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems has opened its 38th Wingfoot Truck Care Center location, this one in Baytown, TX.
The 10,300-sq.-ft. facility is located along Interstate 10 at exit 789. Interstate 10 is a high-priority location for Wingfoot Truck Care Centers, according to Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations.
“It is the southernmost east-to-west, coast-to-coast Interstate in the United States, stretching from Florida to California,” he said. “Our customers have asked us to be on that corridor so we can provide them with the tires and services they need to keep their trucks rolling.”
The center sells Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly truck tires as well as retreaded tires. Oil changes and other preventive maintenance services, including light mechanical services such as brake, electrical and heating/air conditioning repair, are also available, as is emergency 24/7 roadside assistance.
The facility has three service bays, each dedicated to a different service: tire, light mechanical work, and oil changes and express lube.
