The latest hybrid and alternative fuel developments will be featured at The 44th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention and Work Truck Show 2008, February 25-28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Industry professionals will have the opportunity to see if hybrid vehicles fit their operations through educational sessions, test drives and other exhibits.
“All of us in the work truck industry are in a unique position to work with one another to develop and apply the technologies that will literally drive us into the future, with much less fuel and fewer emissions,” said Jim Carney, NTEA executive director.
This year’s conference will begin on Feb. 25 with the “Hybrid Truck and Alternative Fuels Summit” from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. The special session, which requires a separate ticket, will provide information about methods of integrating fleets with hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles.
In addition, the “Hybrid Ride-and-Drive” will give attendees the chance to drive the latest hybrid vehicles around city streets, and the “Advanced Truck Technology Pavilion” will display exhibits from various manufacturers on the show floor from Feb. 26 to 28.
Registration opens this month at the NTEA website, or by calling 800-441-NTEA (6832).
