National truckstop chain Petro Stopping Centers is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Part of the festivities are limited-edition anniversary T-shirts that are customized to “capture the essence” of the cities near its facilities. Petro is also offering a limited time “All You Can Eat” chicken fried steak special, available for breakfast, lunch or dinner, in locations housing the company's Iron Skillet restaurants.
Launched in 1975 out of El Paso, TX, Petro operates a network of 63 locations in 31 states. It was bought by Travel-Centers of America in 2007 for a reported $700 million.
