Mack Trucks Inc. announced it has reached a three-year labor agreement with the United Auto Workers covering 2,500 employees at Mack facilities in three states. The contract is effective immediately.

“With this agreement, Mack and UAW have demonstrated their commitment to maintaining an effective working relationship and meeting the needs of our customers,” said Mack president & CEO Paul L. Vikner.

The new contract covers members of UAW Locals #677 in Allentown, Macungie, and Middletown, PA; #171 and #1247 in Hagerstown, MD; #2301 in Baltimore, MD; and #472 in Atlanta, GA.
