A new CD-ROM from Consolidated Metco, Inc. (www.conmet.com) is now available for service technicians who want to become more familiar with the proper service procedures for the company’s PreSet wheel hubs.
The new CD is designed to enable technicians to complete the training on their own schedules and at their own locations, according to Larry Sanford, national sales manager for ConMet, and yet still get virtually the same content provided by ConMet’s regional service managers in their on-site training sessions.
“ This CD-ROM provides access for our customers, both large and small, to the training they need to properly service PreSet hubs,” explained Sanford. “It can be used by itself or in conjunction with a training session conducted by a ConMet service manager.”
The 45-minute training session uses animation to illustrate and explain procedures such as lubrication, hub removal and disassembly and functional checks. A frequently asked questions section (FAQs) is also available at the end of the CD.
