The American Moving and Storage Association has appointed Madelaine Morgan, CMP, as director of meetings and marketing to succeed Cynthia Simpson, who left AMSA to begin a new career in teaching.

Morgan has spent 12 years in meeting management including the planning of citywide conventions, resort meetings, board retreats, and jointly sponsored international meetings and as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) has compiled an extensive record of volunteer work, including having served as a board member and public relations spokesperson for the Northern Virginia Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
